Rough Idea of the Story.
Genre: Urban Film - Coming of Age
The story is going to be about a young adult (late teens) going through a rough phase in their life and using music as a release for his thoughts. The plot of the story is that the main character (still unestablished) will be constantly going through slightly rough times, writing music (Lyrics) in his spare time as a therapeutic method to make those bad thoughts oblivious to himself. Continuing with that lifestyle, something more tragic than the other occurrences happens, causing himself to go into a slight breakdown. During his aggressive phase, he goes to a social spot (probably going to be a youth club) where he then proceeds to publicly display his talent within music, the people exposed towards the music enjoy it and encourage him to try and take it somewhere.
The main characters problems are economic, and to pursue his dream within the music industry he would need money. His problems countering his dreams. The main character then decides to attempt and resolve his problem. eventually defeating it and pursuing his dream.
Whether or not I want to carry it on and develop the story with his "journey" of following his dream. I'm not to sure, I think the basics of the story are good as it is, and whether or not to extend it will be a considered thought.
