(Research) Costumes related to settings

Costumes and Setting
Costumes come under the category of Mise En Scene when it comes to film production. The costume of the actor needs to relate to the character they are portraying and the location/situation they are currently in. For example if the character is to be in prison, they will need to be in prison overalls, if not it really does not set the scene and makes the production look very unrealistic. An example of what could be a bad costume:

Upon the costume relating to the character they are portraying I mean, if the character is to be a youth growing up in a urban environment, their costume should be urban itself, for example a tracksuit, sneakers and possibly a hat.
