Quick test on to see the outcome of speeding up a clip on my editing software (Sony Vegas Pro 10)
Overall I feel the outcome was pretty nice, obviously to keep interest within the viewer some sort of relevant sound or dialogue would need to be displayed.
Currently planning to have narration over this clip, saying something along the lines of:
"Thoughts are like cars, they come and go, some stick out and some blend in, but at the end of the day they all exist."
This was filmed on the motorway footpath bridge just down the road from my house, behind the Leatherhead B&Q.
